Team Masons – Top Online Fundraiser in the Louth Run for Life 2024
Mon 01 Jul 2024
What a fabulous day for the town and what a fantastic day for Teams Masons very own Famous Five – Lucy Oliver, Leila Hall, Georgia Scannell, Jess Gladding and Violet Woods who all participated in yesterday’s race.
Team Masons runners came together from Sales, Lettings & Management and Masons Rural (Louth Livestock Market too, as Lucy works in the market office on a Monday) and joined 1150 fellow participants to contribute to what has become an iconic annual event in Louth where the whole community comes together to beat cancer.

As Louth Run For Life Chairman, Simon West says in the event’s Facebook group “only yesterday we reached the amazing fundraising milestone of £750,000. That is truly unbelievable. Thanks to everyone who has dug deep to donate to someone taking part. Just look where the online fundraising is at now. If you haven't then there is still time as approximately 40% of fundraising is donated after the event. Every penny helps.”
Team Masons were thrilled to be presented with a Certificate of Appreciation as ‘Top Online Fundraiser’ going into the race with a fantastic total of £1700. Directors, Simon Williams and Russell Jeanes made up the balance to £2,000.

So if you has been intending to get round to giving the girls your financial support but didn’t manage to before the event, there is still time now to donate. Why not give them a pat on the back for their dedicated training and hard work on the day? We are so proud of them and what they’ve achieved.
If you have any pictures of Team Masons doing their thing around the Louth course, please share them with us and tag us on the socials channels as @movewithmasons, @masonsrural and @louthlivestockmarket - we’d love to see your take on the day and will be sharing some of our own too.
Huge thanks to everyone who has donated so far and for supporting us with encouragement, claps, cheers, bottles of water and big smiles along the way. We are proud to have played our part and be at the heart of town events like this.
Maybe next year we can put out an even bigger team?
