New grant funding for Farming Equipment and Technology opens soon

Farming Equipment and Technology Fund (FETF) 2025
 
The Farming Equipment and Technology Fund is a government initiative to help farmers, growers and forestry businesses to invest in new equipment to help cut costs and boost efficiency.

Grants are available for between £1,000 and £25,000 per application, to boost productivity, manage slurry, and enhance animal health and welfare. 
 
A total of £46.7 million is available across three themes:
  • Productivity 
  • Slurry Management
  • Animal Welfare
Eligible applicants must be registered in England with the Rural Payments Agency (RPA) and possess a Single Business Identifier (SBI). Applications are competitive, and each business can submit one application per theme. 
 
The RPA will pay you a grant amount of 40% or 50% towards either the average costs of the item or actual cost if lower. You may be eligible to apply, even if you have received money from previous FETF grants or Countryside Productivity Scheme. 
 
The application window opens on the 29th May 2025 and will close at midday on 10th July 2025.
