Congratulations to Lauren Chamberlin in her promotion to Associate
Mon 14 Oct 2024
A huge congratulations to Lauren Chamberlin from the Masons Rural team who has just been promoted this autumn to Associate within the business.
Lauren joined the Masons Rural team following a return to her hometown of Louth in 2019 after many years working in the equestrian industry. This included competing as a professional equestrian and riding for Great Britain in the same team as local Olympian Ros Canter.
“Lauren’s promotion acknowledges her hard work and dedication over several years to diverse roles within the rural team. She divides her time between rural property agency and planning and development projects for a wide variety of clients” explains Simon Williams, Managing Director.
“Given that Lauren has a degree in Planning and Property Development from Nottingham Trent University and previously worked with a private developer on strategic development, she is in a great position to support our Sales client base, helping those who may encounter planning issues as part of their sale or purchase,” adds Simon.
In addition to planning advice, Lauren also works closely with Simon on solar and onshore wind projects for clients. She supports Degree Apprentice and Rural Assistant, Henry Simpson with land agency and valuation work.
Like all the professional members of the Mason Rural team, Lauren works at our regular weekly livestock sales at Louth Livestock Market every Monday as well as at our Annual Special Shows and Sales. As a farmer’s wife, she is comfortable around livestock, so undertakes a hands-on role, weighing, lotting and moving both sheep and cattle with occasional clerking for our auctioneer, Ed Middleton.
Lauren is always happy to make time on Mondays afternoons for market and rural clients who want to pop into the Masons Rural office off London Road to discuss planning and development queries. Recently Class Q and Class R planning law that may make it easier for farmers to repurpose agricultural buildings is garnering a lot of interest.
Lauren’s next career step is to work towards her RICS accreditation which she is currently undertaking with the support and encouragement of her RICS colleagues, Russell, Simon and Lucy Turner.
“I am thrilled to have been promoted to Associate, and extremely grateful to Simon and Russell for their belief in me to progress personally and professionally within the Masons Rural team.”
We are delighted to welcome Lauren to the senior leadership set-up and look forward to her continuing valuable contribution.
If you would like to discuss any planning and development issues please don't hesitate to contact Lauren on 01507 350511 or email Lauren to make an appointment.
